When we agree we want to work together, I will ask to review any reports and documentation you feel comfortable sharing with me, and then I would want to meewith your child virtually or in person. Once I review your documentation, we will meet to develop a plan. When a parent tells the school that they are brining in an advocate, changes often occur quickly. Some parents do not want to bring the advocate to the meeting to avoid seeming adversarial. I can work "behind the scenes" to guide you through the process and how to proceed.

As we recover from the pandemic, today's children often lack social skills and are more anxious and depressed than ever before. I aim to work with your child to teach them how to verbalize their feelings, find coping skills that fit their needs, and help them implement those skills into their day-to-day lives. I will help your child develop the skillset necessary to facilitate better emotional outcomes and strengthen their relationships with others.

Parent support goes hand in hand with social skills training. I work with the parents as well as the child to help decrease negative behaviors and increase positive behaviors.

My Sessions are flexible and fluid. This means that there can be but does not have to be a set time for a meeting. Typically, when we first meet, there will be more sessions required for me to get to know your child and for us to develop a plan. Once behaviors begin to improve, then we may change how often we meet. Each child and each family is treated individually, and our time together is a partnership, Remember, we are on the same team to show improvement in behavior.

If your child is having behavioral or academic challenges, specifically in preschool or the daycare center, I am able to work in the school. I work with the parents, teachers, and administrators to develop and increase positive behaviors. I can also work in the school with the child. This process has been extremely successful

I am also avalible to conduct workshops for faculty and aids to promote a classroom with more positive support for children.
