We saw a difference after our first session with her!
“Susan has been a godsend, coming to our home to work with our six-year-old after he was diagnosed with ADHD, and began struggling in school. She has given us so many valuable tips on how we, as parents, can work with him. Having her see him and us in our natural home environment has been so helpful to our success in managing his behavior.” We saw a difference after our first session with her!” -Suzanne H.

"Sue has helped with that and so much more."
”Sue has been working with our family for almost a year now and I can't remember what we did without her! We initially reached out with concerns about our 7yo daughter's anxiety, but Sue has helped with that and so much more. Her holistic approach to each issue, and more importantly, each child, has been so refreshing and more than I thought counseling could possibly provide. Yes, she works with my daughter on her issues and helps her find ways to cope and deal, but she also works with the rest of our family by providing resources, feedback, and even sibling participation. Both my kids love Sue and look forward to her visits, and I have no doubt yours will too!” - Yulia G. S.

"She has expertly taught me how to advocate for my special needs son"
“Sue Strumpf has been a trusted source of wonderful and compassionate support for over 20 years. She has expertly taught me how to advocate for my special needs son in the school district and beyond. (He recently graduated from college.) She has provided insightful tips on handling behavioral issues and implementing improved communication skills, thereby creating stronger relationships at home.
She is very passionate about helping children and their families and gets much joy and satisfaction when progress is made. She relies on her experience as a School Psychologist to come up with a plan of action, and will pivot or tweak as needed, to ensure success.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sue Strumpf if you are feeling lost or overwhelmed with the school district, behavioral issues, or just need some advice from a truly caring professional.”

"A real addition to the family!"
“Ms. Sue has been a God send to our family both from an emotional and educational standpoint. My middle school aged son, who suffered from MAJOR anxiety and school refusal, is currently thriving under the tutelage of Ms. Sue’s coping skills as well as homework help. Ms. Sue is patient, kind and always comes prepared with fresh ideas on how to best work with the child’s individual needs. You are in great hands with her! A real addition to the family!

"Compassionate, Sweet and a Warrior are just some of the best ways to describe Sue."
"She never gave up on our son, she made calls, did her research, and gave us guidance to help us push for our son’s success and has been a shoulder for us to lean on. We can’t thank her enough for all she has done for our son and for our family."

"We could not recommend Ms. Sue’s services enough!"
"We came to her at a time where our daughter was having some difficulties expressing herself and navigating emotions. After a few sessions it seemed the problem never existed. Ms. Sue guided our daughter in such a productive way and built such a great relationship with her that she still asks to see her! Working together, Sue, her teachers and ourselves were able to come up with a cohesive plan to help navigate our little girls big emotions into productive and positive behavior."

"Susan has been our advocate for our son for the past month regarding his school's IEP"
"We hired her after our initial IEP meeting, in which we left extremely frustrated. At the 2nd meeting, Susan attended, and the school did a total 180 change in their position! We couldn't be happier with her assistance, and our son couldn't have achieved this success he has already made with his school without her!”

"Ms. Strumpf will absolutely be invited back for future presentations."
"Ms. Strumpf was invited as a guest speaker for the Township of Union’s Preschool Program. The topic of discussion for the family workshop was “Parent Support in Managing Preschool Behaviors”. Ms. Strumpf’s presentation skills were great and focused on key agenda items. Ms. Strumpf was able to create a “safe space” for families to be vulnerable and open about their concerns and this contributed to the rich discussions that were had by all. Ms. Strumpf kept everyone engaged by asking questions to the audience and pausing periodically to check for understanding. The families really enjoyed the content of the workshop as well as the ease of the conversation and they truly appreciated the strategies and suggested tips. Ms. Strumpf will absolutely be invited back for future presentations."
